Wildlife watching beaver

A Swiss Ranger accompanies you on the beaver tour in Giessenpark in Bad Ragaz. The rager will guide you to the beaver lodge and with a bit of luck you will be able to witness the animals at work.

A Swiss Ranger accompanies you on the beaver tour in Giessenpark in Bad Ragaz. The rager will guide you to the beaver lodge and with a bit of luck you will be able to witness the animals at work. Observation of beavers in their natural habitat Exciting information from a Swiss Ranger The active beavers in the Giessenpark near Bad Ragaz are awake when most people are asleep, which is why the beaver tours begin in the evening. A Swiss Ranger leads the way to where the beavers are at work. Beavers are excellent builders and can build impressive dams out of twigs, sticks and mud to dam up rivers and streams and shape their habitats. With a bit of luck, you can watch the beavers at work or foraging for food. The tours take place as follows: Saturday, 7 June 2025, 19.30 Saturday, 21 June 2025, 19.30 Saturday, 28 June 2025, 19.30 Friday, 25 July 2025, 19.30 Saturday, 2 August 2025, 19.15 Guided evening walk with a Swiss Ranger Fascinating stories about the life of a beaver Benefit from the incredible knowledge of a Swiss Ranger Educational material about the beaver German, other languages on request Notes The tour takes place in any weather condition (please wear appropriate clothing) Booking Bookable from June to August on selected dates Minimum number of participants 4 (final decision on the day before 16.00) Online: until 16.00 the day before By phone: on the day of the event until 12.00 (if it has not been cancelled the day before) Individual group tours up to max. 40 people possible on request (Up to 20 people CHF 240.00 for the whole group, 21-40 people CHF 400.00 for the whole group) Any questions?
