«SlowUp yourself!» and win attractive prizes

The slowUp Werdenberg-Liechtenstein had to be cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The organisers have come up with an alternative: "slowUp yourself! Cover the route individually and take part in the raffle for attractive prizes.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the slowUp Werdenberg-Liechtenstein in May had to be cancelled. However, the organisers and partners invite you to actively discover the slowUp communities on both sides of the Rhine with the alternative offer "slowUp yourself! For once, not together, but individually and according to personal preferences.

Discover Werdenberg and Liechtenstein

The "slowUp yourself! Werdenberg-Liechtenstein leads through a hiking, running, cycling, biking and skating paradise in the Rhine Valley between the Alpstein, the Alvier mountain range and the Liechtenstein mountains. The 2021 edition uses and connects existing routes of the Velo- and Skatingland routes and offers a family-friendly, 34-kilometre circuit through the sponsoring municipalities - partly on original sections, partly on peripheral paths. But always with the possibility to make a detour to villages, centres or to bathing areas, castles, parks and other leisure facilities.

Participate and win

A slowUp stands for movement and fun, and this is also the case with the alternative edition. Participants who are on the slowUp route 2021 and have visited all the checkpoints and confirmed their participation in the web app by the end of October will automatically be entered into a draw to win attractive prizes. You can win Ghost mountain bikes from SportXX, Migros gift cards, day trips with the whole family to the Swiss Museum of Transport or Veloplus vouchers from Suva, slowUp weekends and other attractive prizes. How you can take part in "slowUp yourself! Werdenberg-Liechtenstein, you can find out here. The 15th slowUp Werdenberg-Liechtenstein on the original route is scheduled to take place on 1 May 2022.

René Lenherr-Fend, branch manager of the Sarganserland-Werdenberg region, has already joined the "slowUp yourself!:
