"Schweizer Illustrierte", together with its media partners "L'illustré" and "La Domenica" and sponsors Volg and Suzuki, is launching the national "Swiss Village of the Year 2024" competition for the 10th time. In May, readers were asked to nominate their village under the criteria "the most beautiful community with a magnificent location, an idyllic village square or architecture worth seeing" and give their reasons.

The jury has selected six villages from the numerous entries and the "Städtli Werdenberg" is one of them. Which of them wins the coveted title of "Swiss Village of the Year 2024" is entirely in the hands of the Swiss population.
